Hyundai Debuts 2016 Veloster Rally Edition

It’s hard to miss the Hyundai Veloster with its sporty, crouching silhouette. The athletic hatchback made its debut back in 2012 with three doors and space for four passengers, which made it an ideal vehicle for drivers who wanted a sleek and attractive ride without sacrificing functionality. Now, for the 2016 model, Hyundai has introduced the new Veloster Rally Edition, which will target performance enthusiasts looking for a more “sport hatch” experience.

The Rally, which hits the top end of the Veloster’s price range at a sticker price of $23,950, is a limited edition and features unique Matte Marathon Blue paint, aero accents made to look like carbon fiber, a sport-tuned suspension, black seating with blue leatherette bolsters, and badging with floor mats unique to the model. The lightweight wheels are created by Rays Engineering, a Japanese manufacturer known for its high-end wheels in motorsports. All standard features for the base Veloster will also be included.

The Veloster Rally Edition offers a comfortable and pleasurable drive that’s quiet, fun, and more athletic than the standard Hyundai Veloster. Unique styling, badging, and noticeable cosmetic changes inside and out make the Rally package more than just performance-focused. Plus, with the Veloster’s sizable 15.5 cubic feet of cargo space, foldable rear seats, and a fuel rating of 28 mpg combined, this hatchback is energetic, attractive, and functional.
